Emily, has been Spayed, had a well check, had a dental, heart worm tested negative, has a current rabies shot, had a distemper/parvo booster, had a Bordatella Vaccination, had a nail trim and has been de-wormed. She is microchipped.
Emily's birth date: 2/7/09 Weight: 75+ lbs
Emily, is very timid. She is very sweet and gentle with everyone. She does not do so well with young children. I think they have to much energy and move to quickly for her. I try to move slowly and smoothly with her. sometimes a pat on the back is too much. She will come up to me while I am sitting or walking in the yard and have her nose right on me but if I turn to pet her that is not wanted and she moves away. She needs a home that will understand how timid she is and be willing to help her grow further. She has come a very long way. She actually tried to play a little bit with some other dogs today. She also will get between the dogs if she thinks they are playing too rough or will bark for me to come check things out. She also slept with the family cat at the home that surrendered her. She uses the doggy door and figured that out on her own. She is housetrained to our environment..You will need to train her to your environment. I strongly suggest you have a doggy door. The foster did not have one so she preferred to stay outside a lot. Here she is inside most of the time but goes out whenever she needs. I have dog beds laying around but she mostly sleeps on the floor. They might be to small and are uncomfortable. Oh, and we have been working on saying "ha-roo". In the morning she is very happy and needs to say hello to everyone so I am trying to get her to say it that way lol
