Adoption fee is $195.
Abner, has been neutered, had a well check, had a dental, heart worm tested negative, has a current rabies shot, had a distemper/parvo booster, Bordatella Vaccination and has been de-wormed. He is microchipped and a nail trim.
Abner's birthdate is: 4/4/03 Weight: 18 lbs
Abner, is a 15 yr old that came to us after his mom had a major stroke and recuperation is very slow. He had been in boarding for 6 weeks when we got him. He does have an eye with an ulceration that seems to come back so he gets drops 2-3 times a day. He can see some out of the other eye but I don't think he sees anything out of the one. Due to the eye, I consider this senior to be a special needs dog. He also has some hearing loss. He does react when I talk loud enough for him. The vet thinks he may have some dementia. We are feeding the specified food to help with that. He also likes to go outside in the fenced yard a couple times a day when weather permits. Now that he has figured out the yard I catch him running every once in a while. He needs a home to let him live out his senior years comfortably that is willing to help him be comfortable. He gets along with other dogs as long as they don't crowd his space. He will bark at them if they try to bump him around.
