TIMBER
If you are interested in Timber, you may go to the contact us page of www.savethatdog.com and find the application links. This is the start of our adoption process.
Timber's Adoption fee is $195.
Timber has been neutered, had a well check, had a dental, heart worm tested negative, has a current rabies shot, had a distemper/parvo booster, Bordatella Vaccination and has been de-wormed. He is microchipped and a nail trim.
Timber's birthdate is: 12/13/13
Timber is such a sweet and loving boy. Look at those beautiful blue eyes! He knows some basic commands and is learning others very fast – so it should be fairly easy to reinforce the one’s he currently knows and teach him more. He will probably do best in a household with another dog but the dogs should be the same size and age. He is very energetic and playful. He does not know his size so can play to rough for smaller dogs. He will need to be housetrained to your environment. He is doing well with this but still needs some extra attention to prevent accidents as he is getting acclimated. He has been doing well with a doggy door. He walks well with a leash and harness. He knows the command ‘heel’. If it is not used he will pull the leash. He has a gentle mouth when taking treats. He does not snatch them from your hand. He must be a house dog. He does not like the cold. A fenced yard is a must. He needs plenty of play time outside. Timber would be perfect in a home with a runner that would allow him to go along. Or, someone who loves to hike. He loves to fetch and other games.
